To help you make the most of your time at RSS 2026, please review the important information below.

Workshops — University of Technology Sydney

The RSS 2026 Workshops will take place across two days on Monday 13 July (half-day morning events) and Friday 17 July (full day).

Please refer to the Conference Program for detailed workshop times, building locations, room allocations and catering information. We recommend checking this page regularly for any updates.

Catering:

  • Monday: Morning tea will be available
  • Friday: Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be available

At the conclusion of the workshops on Monday 13 July, please promptly make your own way to the Sydney ICC to collect your Conference name badge.

  • Address: 14 Darling Drive, Sydney NSW 2000
  • Location: Northern end of the precinct, closest to Cockle Bay and the Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour
  • Walk: The ICC is a 20-minute walk from UTS
  • Uber / Taxi Drop-off Point: Iron Wharf Place (accessed off Darling Drive)
  • Transit Options: Take the 501 bus from UTS at Thomas St after Wattle St to Harris St after Allen St, or the light rail from Paddy’s Market to Convention

Wi-Fi — To connect to the UTS Wi-Fi:

  1. Select the UTS-Guest network
  2. Click on the “Attending a conference or event” link
  3. Enter the access code: Robotics2026


Full Conference — International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney

Venue

Robotics: Science and Systems 2026 will be held at the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC).

  • Address: 14 Darling Drive, Sydney NSW 2000
  • Location: Northern end of the precinct, closest to Cockle Bay and the Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour
  • Drop-off Point: Iron Wharf Place (accessed off Darling Drive)
  • Transit: Closest light rail stop is Convention; the closest train stations are Town Hall or Central (about a 10-minute walk)

Registration Desk

The registration desk will be located on Level 2 of the ICC in The Gallery and Parkside Ballroom Foyer during the following times:

Tuesday 14 July 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Wednesday 15 July 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Thursday 16 July 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Please be aware that no luggage or personal items may be left at the registration desk.

Name Badge Collection

Please ensure you have either a valid ID or your registration confirmation (with your name clearly visible) ready for presentation to collect your name badge. Name badges are to be worn at all times while at the Sydney ICC.

RSS T-shirt Collection

RSS Conference T-shirts will be available for collection on Tuesday 14 July. Please ensure you present your t-shirt confirmation email and know which t-shirt size you ordered. Each delegate is entitled to one t-shirt.

Wi-Fi

To connect to the Wi-Fi, select the Robotics2026 network and enter the password: Robotics2026

Presenter Privacy

Please consider appropriateness and privacy before uploading anything to publicly accessible websites or social media.

Catering

Catering will be provided in The Gallery (Exhibition Hall). There will be a dedicated station for dietary requirements — please speak to a catering staff member if you have any questions.

  • Thursday: Morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and offsite Conference Banquet

Conference Banquet

**Thursday 16 July 6:30 PM – 10:30 PM Luna Lu at Campbell’s Stores**

The “Agibot” Conference Banquet will be held at Luna Lu at Campbell’s Stores.

Address: Ground Level, Bays 4 and 5, 7–27 Circular Quay W, The Rocks NSW 2000

If you are attending the Conference Banquet, your ticket will be available with your name badge and must be presented upon entrance at the dinner. Please note delegates are to make their own way to the venue.

Directions:

  • Train or light rail from Circular Quay to Town Hall, then a 10-minute walk from Town Hall to Luna Lu
  • Drive is 12 minutes from the ICC to Luna Lu

Family Friendly Room

For the duration of the Conference, Business Suite 2.1 will be available as a family friendly space for delegates. The room will feature a live stream of the Conference sessions, along with access to a microwave, kettle and fridge.

Please see the team at the Registration Desk for directions to the room. Please note that this space is not supervised. Children under 12 years of age must always be accompanied by an adult.

Getting to the Sydney ICC

Onsite Parking — If you are driving, we recommend parking in the International Convention Centre Car Park, which is connected to the centre, accessible 24 hours a day and monitored by security.

Public Transport — The closest light rail line to the ICC is the L1 Dulwich Hill line, serviced by two stops: Exhibition and Convention. The L1 Dulwich Hill light rail line departs regularly from Central. Alight at Convention for access to the Convention Centre, Darling Harbour Theatre, and the Grand Ballroom (about 65 metres from the station exit to the venue entrance). Alight at Exhibition for access to the ICC Sydney Theatre and Exhibition Centre (about 140 metres).
